Spectacularfest 4 is a celebration of live music that raises awareness of important local issues. This year our focus is on mental health that is why all profits will go to CALM & Mind Lancashire.
Well, after a fantastic night of live entertainment, we can now reveal after all expenses, we managed to raise £1238.00 which we have divided equally between Mind Lancashire & CALM.
A big thank you goes out to both The Rock Box & The Drummers Arms for without their beyond the call of duty support the event would not have gone ahead.
Also we must mention Blackburn Rovers for donating the signed football which raised over £200.00 in the raffle.
In addition the support of all the bands and DJ Swift helped make for a great night but most importantly a huge thank you to all who purchased tickets and turned up, for without you there would not have been a Spectacularfest 4.
Here is what our donation means to Mind Lancashire.

£1,238 between CALM and Lancashire Mind is a fantastic achievement. Just to put what you've raised for us into context: £600 is the equivalent to:
• Two adults receiving six weeks of one-to-one coaching to overcome barriers that are affecting their good mental health or
• Six one-hour Happier Lancashire talks or
• Six workshops in a local school or youth community setting teaching children simple daily activities for looking after their mental health.

I’m writing to thank you for your fantastic donation of £619 via our website and raised through Spectacularfest 4 on 26th February 2022 in support of CALM and Lancashire Mind. Thank you too for your raffle on the evening.
A big thank you for the hard work, perseverance and energy and hard work you have put into organising this wonderful night of live music. Your support, fundraising and awareness-raising are very much valued and appreciated by the team and all those who access our support and services. As a local, independent charity the support of organisations means so much to Lancashire Mind and the work we do.
This significant and meaningful donation will aid us in our vision to support everyone in Lancashire to have the best possible mental health and wellbeing. While our commissioned work with the NHS and local authorities allows us to deliver some core services and fund our central costs, additional donations from individuals and businesses allow us to invest in areas of work where we can see an immediate need, and where there is no other funding.
Last year, this donation income allowed us to invest in four new projects, that otherwise would not have happened:
• Extending our offer of wellbeing coaching for children and young people, so that every young person in Lancashire who needs this service can access it, with minimal waiting time.
• Delivering Bounce Forward across schools in North Lancashire – a programme which helps young people build resilience at key points in their lives, such as the transition from primary to secondary school.
• An innovative programme to look at new ways of preventing homelessness and providing safe accommodation for people with long term mental health conditions.
• Adding a new engagement worker to reach people in communities across Lancashire and help them co-design solutions to wellbeing challenges and to influence NHS and local authority decision-makers.
